Daddy’s Biography

His Grace, The Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah OON, JP, is a dedicated and patriotic Nigerian born to the family of the late Nze Obadiah Amadi Onukogu, a lay magistrate and London-trained police officer, and Madam Mary Onukogu (née Okanu), both from Nkwerre in the Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry, Professorships in Theology and in Human Development, including doctoral degrees in Business Administration, and in Public Administration and Communication Arts. Beyond his scholarly achievements, his diverse contributions have significantly influenced the moral, educational, social, and spiritual fabric of society, establishing him as a guiding light both within Nigeria and on the global stage, with a legacy that will be remembered and honoured for generations.
This holy and anointed Prophet of the Most High God has dedicated over five consecutive decades of stainless and selfless service to God and humanity, serving as a beacon of hope and a reliable compass for the world in the 21st century, teaching the undiluted word of God, and leading people toward holiness, righteousness and salvation. From birth, Prophet Daddy Hezekiah has demonstrated remarkable qualities, including leadership, coordination, hospitality, and a steadfast commitment to defending the defenseless. Renowned for his effectual prayers and the performance of extraordinary miracles, he also exhibits profound strength, faith, wisdom, and a deep love for the things of God.
During his time as a student in Zambia, he made significant contributions to the University of Zambia Christian Fellowship, where he held key leadership roles as Male Counselor and Chairman. He earned the distinction of being the first foreigner to hold the post and the only person at that time to do so in his final year. Additionally, while still a student, he played a pivotal role in converting lecturers and fellow students who held strong beliefs in magic and occult powers.
In November 1979 after his graduation, Daddy Hezekiah, known then as Ba Victor, was invited to the Zambian State House by the then President, His Excellency, late Dr. Kenneth Kaunda to pray for him, his cabinet and the entire Zambia nation. Through the word of God he preached and the spirit-filled prayers he offered, many were moved to tears at the State House.
Upon his return to Nigeria in 1980 to fulfil his national service through the mandatory one-year NYSC programme, he was posted to the Inland Girls Secondary School, Onitsha, Anambra State. Thereafter, his dedication to duty, high sense of professionalism, good moral standing, and outstanding contributions to the school resulted in his retention as a permanent teacher. By divine providence, Daddy Hezekiah established Living Christ Mission at the Inland Girls Secondary School, Onitsha, in 1983. Today, it stands as one of the fastest-growing churches globally, with branches across the world.
Furthermore, beyond his esteemed roles as a spiritual leader, Daddy Hezekiah is widely recognised as a philanthropist, with a significant impact both locally and internationally. His scholarship scheme benefits over one thousand individuals annually, spanning from primary school to doctoral degree levels. Notably, Daddy’s scholarship programme stands out for its unconditional and selfless nature, covering tuition, accommodation, healthcare, feeding and clothing for the beneficiaries. Equally, he serves as a patron for over 100 reputable organisations, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to supporting various causes and initiatives that enhance the lives of others, particularly the less privileged.
Daddy Hezekiah, best described as a father of all, has about one thousand less privileged persons who he selflessly and cheerfully feed from his purse, on daily basis. As a man of magnanimity, he always improves on the lives of many indigent Nigerians by sharing palliatives to them on regular basis, including cash, irrespective of their ethnic or religious inclinations.
The outstanding wide-ranging contributions and services of this illustrious and detribalised global personality to mankind, have gained him over 500 distinguished awards and recognitions locally and internationally. He is an International Lord Mayor of Peace and Lifetime Patron of the United Nations of Africa Association USA, Inc., United Nation’s Millennium Development Ambassador, and a two-time Nigerian National Honours Awards recipient—first as Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2008 and in October 2022, Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), from the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
